Having bombed his high school entrance exam, young Tsukune Aono thinks hes caught a break when hes admitted to the Youkai Academy, only to discover its a secret school that teaches young monsters to integrate into human society. Being a monster school, Tsukune must hide the fact that hes human or hell be killed. An accidental encounter on his first day introduces him to young vampire Moka Akashia, who has an identity crisis of her own, as shes really two separate individuals in the same body.
